I like soft, mild colours.

What is your favourite snack?
I enjoy snacks like cookies and samosas.

What is your favourite food?
My favourite foods are kebabs and biryani.

How do you spend your summer breaks?
I try to travel back home to spend time with my parents. They are older and not in the best health, so it’s very important for me to be there with them whenever I can.

If you won the lottery and decided to give up teaching, what would you do instead?
I would spend more time going back home a few times a year to take care of my parents and be with my family.

What is one of your hidden talents?
I wouldn’t say I have any hidden talents, but I always try to give my best in everything I do.

What makes a ‘good day’ at a childcare centre?
A good day is when I see the children smiling and happy.

What inspires you?
I am inspired by the desire to always do something meaningful and not just limit myself to being a housemaker.

What’s the best and worst thing about being a childcare worker (RECE or Assistant)?
The best part is working with children and being part of their growth and happiness.

How do you remember all of the children’s names?
When I work regularly at a centre, I make an effort to remember each child’s name by seeing them often and building familiarity.

If you could take the children on a field trip anywhere in the world, where would you take them?
I would take them to Disneyland, it would be such a fun and memorable experience for them.

What is your first memory from school?
My first memory from school is going on a school trip. It was a very happy and exciting time.

What would your perfect party look like?
My perfect party would include traditional attire like salwar-kameez and sarees, with good food and time spent together with loved ones
