How long have you worked for Sentient HR?
I’ve been part of the Sentient HR team for 10 months, and it’s been such a rewarding journey so far.

What is your favourite colour?
Purple—it’s vibrant, calming, and always stands out.

What is your favourite snack?
Definitely meat pies or patties! They’re comforting, flavourful, and remind me of home.

What is one of your hidden talents?
Dancing! It’s my happy place and a fun way to express myself.

What makes a ‘good day’ at a childcare centre?
The best part is getting to spend time with young minds. Children have such a unique way of seeing the world, and I learn just as much from them as they do from me.

What inspires you?
I have a strong memory, but I also make a point of using each child’s name throughout the day – it helps build connection and makes their names stick.

What’s the best thing about being a childcare worker (RECE or Assistant)?
Best: spending time with young minds and just interacting with them and learning how they see the world.

How do you remember all of the children’s names?
I actually have a really good memory plus during the day I make sure I keep calling them by their names…that makes it stick

If you could take the children on a field trip to anywhere in the world, where would you take them?
I’d take them to Africa! There’s so much culture, nature, and history to explore – it would be such an enriching experience for them.
