How long have you worked for Sentient HR?
I have been working with Sentient HR for about seven months, and it has been a rewarding experience so far.

What is your favourite colour?
White is my favourite colour.

What is your favourite snack?
Chocolate is my all time favourite snack.

What is your favourite food?
I really love eating pasta.

How do you spend your summer breaks?
I like spending my summer breaks travelling and exploring new places.

If you won the lottery and decided to give up teaching, what would you do instead?
I don’t think I would give up teaching because it feels like the right path for me. However, I would love to get a camera and do children’s photography as a side job.

What is one of your hidden talents?
One of my hidden talents is photography, as well as being an educator I am also a professional photographer.

What makes a ‘good day’ at a childcare centre?
A good day is simply spending time with the children and seeing them happy.

What inspires you?
My professors inspire me by teaching me what to do and guiding me in my journey.

What’s the best and worst thing about being a childcare worker (RECE or Assistant)?
The best part of being an RECE is working with children and seeing how they grow and develop. The hardest part is when other workers treat you poorly.

How do you remember all of the children’s names?
I usually check their pictures and names, but most of the time I remember them by their faces.

If you could take the children on a field trip anywhere in the world, where would you take them?
I would take them to the USA because there is a wonderful amusement park that they would love.

What is your first memory from school?
My first memory from school was attending summer school and doing many fun outdoor activities.
