What makes a ‘good day’ at a childcare center?

A good day at a childcare center is when the children are happy, engaged, and learning through play, with lots of smiles and laughter filling the rooms. Hugs from children are a highlight, as they show their affection and trust, making the caregivers feel appreciated.

What’s the best/worst thing about being a childcare worker (RECE or Assistant)?

The best part about being a childcare worker is the rewarding feeling of helping children learn and grow, witnessing their developmental milestones firsthand. The worst part can be the physical and emotional exhaustion that comes with the job, as it requires constant energy and patience. However, moments of relaxation, such as quiet story time, provide a necessary break and a chance to recharge.

How do you remember all of the children’s names?

I remember all of the children’s names by frequently reciting them throughout the day and associating their names with specific characteristics or behaviors. Using their names during activities and interactions helps reinforce memory.

If you could take the children on a field trip to anywhere in the world, where would you take them?

If I could take the children on a field trip anywhere in the world, I would take them to Disneyland! It’s a magical place that offers endless fun and excitement, with activities and attractions that cater to all ages and interests.
