Recruitment Policies
Sentient HR Services provides Human Resources Services to the Child Care and Education Fields.
Sentient’s Recruitment Policy will:
- Be fair and consistent;
- Be non-discriminatory on the grounds of race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, family status, disability or conviction for an offence for which a pardon has been granted;
- Conform to regulations and agreed best practices.
To ensure that these policy aims are achieved, all recruitment staff will receive training in effective recruitment and selection.
The Recruitment Process
Procedures may vary for each post.
Once a resume has been submitted to Sentient for an active posting:
- A Sentient recruiter will review the resume to determine if their experience and education fits the requirements of the position;
- Candidates deemed to be a fit for the position will receive a call from the Sentient recruiter to schedule or complete a brief interview over the phone;
- The candidate will then be invited to a face to face interview with the Sentient Recruiter or individual responsible for hiring at a specific centre.
All resumes are kept on file for 6 months and are considered for all postings available through Sentient.
